The Board of Directors of Avtech Aviation & Engineering plc informs that on 2nd August 2011, they received a statement (the statement was made on 1st August, 2011) from AerFinance plc in which AerFinance explains that none of the Avtech shares which were sold on 25th June 2011 have been trading on NewConnect. The transfer of these shares on the brokerage accounts has not yet been closed, so the values cannot be the subject of session orders. Therefore the share price decline of Avtech Aviation & Engineering plc has not been caused by supply of these securities during the recent trading of Avtech Aviation & Engineering plc on the market.
The Board of Directors of AerFinance plc emphasises that investors who bought shares from AerFinance treat this investment as a strategic long-term investment, and their intention is to increase participation in the shareholding structure of the Company.
