The Board of Directors of Avtech Aviation & Engineering plc inform that on 26 July, 2011, on the basis of the EBI report of AerFinance PLC (report 19/2011), this confirmed the transaction of the sale of Avtech Aviation & Engineering plc shares by AerFinance PLC.
The content of the EBI report below:
“The Management Board of AerFinance plc informs, that on 25th of July 2011 all the shares of Avtech Aviation & Engineering PLC ("Avtech") owned by AerFinance PLC has been sold to three purchasers. In line with investment policy, it has been decided to capitalize achieved gain before first day of listening of Avtech on Warsaw Stock Exchange. The purchasers, the group of investors, are interested in further development of Avtech.
The operational cooperation between Avtech and subsidiaries of AerFinance PLC will be sustained and developed to exploit mutual benefits. Particularly, the cooperation will be sustained between Avtech and AERTECH SAS.
Gaining will be reinvested in current projects and new ventures in the future. The value of the transaction did not exceed 10 % of AerFinance equity, however the transaction is vital as it has concluded complicated investment project of AerFinance PLC. The Board believes that this exit will strengthen AerFinance PLC image as a reliable business partner with capability to manage multinational projects."
