	The Board of Directors announces that after more than 16 years of working with the Photon Energy Group, Michael Gartner, one of the Group s founders, its CTO and member of the Board of Directors, has decided to retire from his day-to-day managerial duties, effective as of 31 December 2024. Michael Gartner will not be seeking reappointment to the Board of Directors at the Group s Annual General Meeting on 14 June 2024, but has been nominated to become a member of the Supervisory Board, effective as of 1 January 2025, after the end of his employment by the Group. The Supervisory Board has nominated David Forth, the Group s CFO, to replace Michael Gartner on the Board of Directors of Photon Energy N.V. Mr. Forth has been with the Company since 1 February 2024. Prior to joining Photon Energy Group David has gained extensive experience in senior managerial positions with multinational companies and has held a series of senior interim roles, including Interim CFO of Eurowag (W.A.G. Payment Solutions plc) and Interim Management Finance Director at Mothercare, Costa Coffee, Dr Martens, Eddie Stobart and AB Sugar. On behalf of the Photon Energy Group team, I would like to thank Michael for his exceptional contribution to the expansion and achievements of Photon Energy Group s business, particularly in Australia and the segment of water and remediation. Our 16-year journey of growing Photon Energy from a start-up to a publicly listed integrated energy company active on three continents has been nothing short of remarkable and I would like to thank him for our partnership. We are looking forward to benefitting from his experience and insights in his future role as a member of the Supervisory Board, commented Georg Hotar, CEO of Photon Energy Group.
